This year The Alzheimer’s Association will host a free virtual multi-part conference series for families and friends caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia. Join fellow caregivers to learn from experts who will cover various topics related to dementia care within the Black/African American community, including public health approaches to reducing the risk of dementia, social isolation and social distancing during COVID-19, through healthy living, and telemedicine.

This event is named in memory of Pythias A. and Virginia I. Jones who were both affected by dementia. They are the parents of The Honorable Verna L. Jones-Rodwell, Ernestine Jones Jolivet, Pythias D. Jones, MD, the late Alvin A. Jones and the late Gilda Jones Garrett.
