Making Care Easier: The Tapestry Behind Our Work

Building a care-focused organization, one thread at a time

I often think about my work as a tapestry—something built slowly, thread by thread, over time. It began with a simple passion: helping others. That purpose has guided every step of the journey as The Option Group turns 15.

Education and lifelong learning have always been central to my work. Through ongoing programs, CEUs, and experiences such as attending Tuck Business School at Dartmouth for business owners, I’ve continued to grow as both a professional and a leader.

As the organization expanded, I realized I couldn’t do it alone. By intentionally building a diverse, skilled team, we strengthened our ability to serve clients. I invested in growth by hiring staff and surrounding myself with people who brought specialized expertise. Each team member adds something essential, making the entire organization stronger and more effective.

With this growing team, we’re able to help more people and offer a broader range of services. Clients often tell us it feels like “hitting the easy button”—having multiple needs met in one place. And even when we can’t provide a service directly, we know who can.

At the heart of our work are care managers. Their role is to identify resources, connect services, and move clients forward with clarity and purpose. Together, we continue weaving a tapestry that reflects collaboration, growth, and a shared commitment to helping others.

If you or someone you care about needs additional support to help cope, The Option Group is here to help. Don’t hesitate to contact our professional care management team for assistance.
